Self sacrifice ...
From the previous post about change being inevitable. How do u reali deal with change? Do u sacrifice yourself ? Not as in to die and all lar. As in to give up something that you like now. Maybe a hobby or your work for your loved ones?
I guess it all depends on how much you love the person and also on the upbringing. Whether you yourself is the most important person on earth or do you actually put others before yourself? Many times we would think for ourself first. Humans are selfish by nature...no? It's through religious believes and also upbringing that we are able to breakaway from this kinda thoughts. As in being selfish.
I do have friends that sometimes go all out to help people around them. Really appreciate such friends. It makes you feel that there is still kindness in this world. Kindness without waiting for repayment. Without expecting anything in return at all.

i personally think love is more self sacrifice than self fulfilment so yes, i guess it's really a fundamental component of life.. hehe.. it's much much easier said than done tho.. in Jesus' context, that's the ultimate self sacrifice for the love of His people
on another note.. kindness.. kindness.. kindness.. can being too kind reach a point where it's cruel?
cruel in what sense? But i've realised over the years when you over-care for some1. you tend only to drive them away. last week my fren had some family prob and i was like asking how it was and all. maybe 1 time too many because his response was "I'VE HAD ENOUGH FROM MY PARENTS, I DON'T NEED ANYMORE FROM YOU."
i was merely concerned but it didn't turn out the way i expected it to be. but how would we know when enough is enough?
you'll never know.. haha that's one of the aspects where too much kindness kills... hahaha.. sigh..
but kindness can be too much of a good thing huh.. like when ppl take advantage of you... or if i want to take my time and think about it, thousands of other possibiities may appear. just like anything else.

rolling stones was flipping fantastic in case u havent heard.. flipping awesome!!! full of energy.. which makes u wonder how much do you need to do to be immortal-like.. they sure looked like immortals for some time on the big screen.. damn killer.. hope i'll get to see them onstage again!
